We offer a wide range of services

We offer a wide range of services including Health Checks, Smoking Cessation and Emergency Contraception and we have a private consultation room if you require confidentiality to discuss your requirements.

We are also involved in the Pharmacy First Scheme, and Supervised Methadone scheme and offer a Prescription ordering, collection and delivery.

We also have a treatment room where you can receive a variety of beauty and health treatments. See below for our full range of services.

Free prescription collection service

For those of you who have a busy lifestyle or difficulty getting out of the house, this service is for you. We are able to collect prescriptions from your surgery on your behalf. The service costs nothing to set up, all we require is for you to complete a registration form and drop in you current repeat paper and we’ll do the rest.

Blood pressure check

No appointment necessary, just call in and one of our friendly staff will take a quick and accurate reading of your blood pressure and log the information on a tracking sheet allowing you to build up a history of blood pressure readings.

Height, weight, waist and BMI

In this service we measure your height, weight and waist to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI). The information is then logged onto a tracking sheet which allows for a history to be built up over time.

Emergency hormonal contraception (‘morning after pill’)

Our pharmacists are accredited to provide EHC completely free of charge without the need to book an appointment (although there may be a short wait at busy times). The consultation is provided in a private area and all gathered information is 100% confidential. You have up to 72 hours to get treatment after unprotected intercourse, however, it is advisable to see the pharmacist as soon as you can. The sooner the treatment is taken the more effective it is Please note that you cannot collect or purchase EHC on somebody else’s behalf.

C-card:

A FREE scheme in which customers aged of 13 to 18 years old can claim free condoms using their C-Card.

Smoking cessation (NEW LEAF)

We are running the Nottinghamshire Smoking Cessation scheme ‘New Leaf’. The scheme is free of charge for clients exempt from NHS prescription charges, however there is a one-off standard prescription charge for patients from non-exempt clients.

Do you know what each medicine you are taking is for?
Do you want to talk to someone about your medicines?
Do you have any concerns about taking your medicines?
Are you concerned which ‘over the counter’ medicines are safe to take with your prescription?
